In August 2024, Secretary of Lakshya Peace Foundation and cancer specialist
Dr Ravi Shankar toured the Lakshmipur block area and met many people in the
local society, teachers, and doctors. He also met family of some cancer
patients. While his interaction with people, he discussed various aspects of
cancer prevention and spread awareness regarding lifestyle changes including
a focus on healthy diet.
