Vision

Nation is built by efforts of individual citizen. Lakshya Peace Foundation is an effort in that direction. We want to create a “movement of development” (विकास का आंदोलन) by making people in villages/cities understand that the wrong things around us that have now started looking ‘normal’ (as they have persisted for long), need to be changed.

And that, positive changes have to come from our “individual and collective” efforts. Engaging children, youth, women and old people for the betterment of their own lives and development of their own villages/cities is necessary to have sustainable positive changes in the society. We have to create a society and a living ambience that is pleasant, healthy, beautiful, cohesive and supportive for the people. Our children will grow and take charge of the nation tomorrow. So, creating a healthy, competent and morally strong human resources should be high on our agenda.

Mission

We envisage holistic development of villages, working on issues of education, health, library, street lights, cleanliness, agriculture, hang out spots, pond rejuvenation etc. We want our villages to become developed in terms of having all the facilities needed for a standard living, including a healthy and beautiful ambience.

We want to empower our girls and women in villages by ensuring their education and also training them in different skills.  We want girls in villages to come out of confines of their homes and learn new things. We want to work on ensuring good health of our women by educating them about various aspects of “Self Health-care” including healthy menstrual practices. We also want to create good quality healthcare infrastructure and services for all at village level. We also want to work for our kids with a focus to fill the gap in their education.

The words of our founder

A very warm welcome to Lakshya Peace Foundation.

This organization is a culmination of 20 year old dream of serving mankind: the poor, under-privileged and under-served people; and under-developed regions of our villages/cities. We wish to create a movement of development, especially in villages, which unfortunately have seen very little transformative developmental changes. In my multiple interactions with villagers, one thing is very loud and clear- that there is strong desire of positive changes in them, and strong resentment for not having witnessed them yet. A standard quality of  healthcare services, education, and other necessary ‘good quality of life’ facilities are birthright of our people, aren’t they?. Their enthusiasm to participate when I talk to them about various developmental issues related to them but unaddressed so far, bring great sense of hope for me and for team of Lakshya Peace Foundation. This hope drives us. This hope makes us believe that every citizen in this nation wants to be not only a beneficiary, but also a stakeholder in the process of development. The corrupt system, which has smartly siphoned off large share of the money meant for the development of the people, brings a sense of frustration in all of us. This does not make us lose hope, but in fact has made us more hopeful of positive changes that will come to our lives. Let’s work together to make a society, which has every component of a standard life.
